Researching material for the first decade of the 2000's is being undertaken and it will be added as it becomes available. Until this material is sorted out, what you will see may look a bit disjointed. We hope that you understand the situation and bear with us until we can get this section better organised.
2000 to 2009 - 'The First Decade.'

The par 3 8th hole in 2005.
It's pretty difficult to sum up ten years of the Red Cliffs Golf Club in a few words, but the main thing that comes to mind regarding the first decade of the 21st century is - lack of water!
Like much of south eastern Australia, the Sunraysia region suffered one of its worst droughts in living memory. Through most of the period from 2000 to 2009, so bad was the drought that irrigation water allocations were cut right across the district.
Given that the Red Cliffs Golf Club relies on irrigation to maintain its grass greens & fairways, the drought put great strain on the club during this period. But, true to its history of self-reliance and volunteerism, the club was able to battle through this very tough period due mainly to its willingness to innovate and to seek alternative sources of water.
